Ross hears 70-person docket

A 70-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court. Included in court action:• Shawn Bell was ordered to serve 47 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,499, and lose driving privileges for two years for second-offense DUI and second-offense driving on a suspended license.• Jamie Emler was directed to serve 45 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $352 and lose driving privileges for one year for second-offense driving on a revoked license.• Steve Frame was instructed to serve 32 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $611 and lose his driver license for third-offense driving on a suspended license and failure to appear in court.• Sharon Bray was ordered to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose her driver license for one year for driving on a revoked license.• Kenneth McReynolds was bound to the grand jury on charges of third-offense driving on a revoked license and violation of habitual traffic offender status.• William Reed was bound to the grand jury on charges of driver on duty while using meth, driving on a suspended license, driving while declared out of service, missing mud flap, light law violation, and medical card violation.• Stephanie Stone was bound to the grand jury on the charge of DUI. She had her driver license revoked for one year for violating the implied consent law. She must serve 48 hours for failure to appear in court.• Roberto Hernandez was instructed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,281, perform 24 hours public service work and lose his driver license for one year for DUI.• Charles A. Smith was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $312 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Heather Sanfilippo must pay $350 for driving without a license.• Amy Brown must pay $304 for driving without a license.• April Guard was issued a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $232 and lose her license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Justin Pendergraph must pay $350 for driving without a license and speeding.• Justin Ortkiese must pay $462 for driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance and speeding.• Natasha Bryant must pay $219 for driving without a license.• Simon Gonzalez, David Tinoco, Gabriel Montero and Ramona Guerez must pay $152 for driving without a license.• Timothy Thomas must serve the balance of his sentence and has been put on the no probation list for violation of probation.Clarification• Gwendolyn Jones, who was convicted on theft charges, is not the same Gwendolyn Jones who works at Arby’s and attends GCI.
