Ross hears 46-person docket

A 46-person docket was heard Tuesday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Court. Cases not listed were dismissed or postponed to a later date. Included in court action:• Sherry Clark was ordered to serve 60 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and pay $750 plus costs for possession of drugs.• Lisa Porterfield was bound to the grand jury on the charge of theft over $1,000.• Kevin D. Reed was bound to the grand jury on the charge of theft over $1,000.• Konrad Reichman must serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and was warned to stay out of Walmart for shoplifting.• Brian Roady was bound to the grand jury on the charge of theft.• Cory Sullivan was bound to the grand jury on the charge of domestic assault.• Jennifer Mayfield was bound to the grand jury on the charge of vandalism over $1,000.• Keith Polson was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion and must pay $250 plus costs for domestic assault and possession of drugs. • Nancy Webster was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion, was directed to make restitution, and was warned to stay out of JC Penny for theft.• Jenny Murphy was issued a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs for criminal impersonation.• Shawn Barrett was given a six-month sentence but released on time served for theft. • Christopher Hillis was granted a six-month judicial diversion and was ordered to make restitution and warned to stay out of Walmart for shoplifting.• Angelia Martin was granted a six-month judicial diversion for passing a worthless check for $20.• James Reagan must pay $50 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for possession of alcohol under the age of 21.• Chad Sandlin must serve 10 days for contempt of court.
