Normally quiet schools were buzzing with activity this morning as students from Morrison to Eastside reported to class for the first day of school. It was also the first day for three new principals – Vickie Dodd at Hickory Creek, Gerald Tidwell at Warren County Middle School, and Anthony Cassel at Warren County High School. Students will receive three solid weeks of classroom instruction before their first vacation day which comes Sept. 5 for Labor Day.
