Last Saturday was a beautiful spring day — a great day for spring cleaning and that’s exactly what happened in downtown McMinnville. The Main Street McMinnville Design Committee, as well as numerous volunteers, divided into teams and raked leaves, picked up trash, mowed grass, performed weed-eating and cleaned windows. Design Committee members headed up teams: • Ryan Moore took a team and cleaned alleys in back of buildings on the north side of Main Street and cleaned windows on Spring Street.• Faye Breedlove’s team cleaned and mowed the area where the buildings burned and cleaned windows on Main Street.• Rachel Killebrew’s team raked, picked up trash and pulled weeds in back of buildings on the south side of Main Street.
