Jack Redmon is a free man after spending nearly half a year behind bars waiting to answer to charges stemming from his alleged attack and stabbing of fellow businessman Mike Hale outside the VFW in August.His release from Warren County Jail comes after his bond was dropped by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to $100,000 last week. As terms of his release, Redmon must wear a GPS monitor to track his movements and has been warned not to go around Hale.Redmon, 44, is charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault for allegedly stabbing Hale outside the VFW. Prosecutors say Redmon came there along with Hale’s estranged wife, Brooke Hale, 33, to confront Mr. Hale after threats and insults had been volleyed between them for several weeks. Hale was stabbed in the midsection and chest.Prosecutors maintain Redmon pulled a knife as soon as he got off his motorcycle and then charged at Hale.
