Members of the county’s Economic and Agricultural Committee met last week and voted to approve recommendations for individuals to serve on the Airport Commission and the Airport Zoning Committee.Recommended to serve on the Airport Commission for a second and final term is Dr. Mike Roberts. This appointment is a five-year term, meaning his appointment will end in January 2019.Roberts has served on the committee over 20 years.Dr. Harry Burke was approved to his second and final term to serve on the Airport Zoning Committee which is a four-year term. It will expire in January 2018.Many of the same people serve on the Airport Commission and the Airport Zoning Committee.
