A man waiting to see the doctor was busted for carrying a gun after the firearm was found concealed in his pants.The suspect, Benito Garcia Castorene, 33, is charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon.His charges come after police were called to Plaza Shopping Center in response to reports of a man in a black SUV waving a handgun around at a female.When McMinnville Police Sgt. Ben Cantrell arrived, he located the suspect’s girlfriend in a doctor’s office there. She told the officer Castorene was inside waiting to see the doctor.“I went inside the doctor’s office and found him in one of the patient rooms,” Cantrell said. “I noticed a large bulge in his front pocket.”Cantrell said the suspect admitted he was carrying a loaded weapon.“I handcuffed him and discovered a loaded, five-shot, 38-caliber revolver in his possession,” Cantrell said.The suspect told Cantrell he was carrying the firearm for personal protection.
