Perrigan given 20 days for shoplifting with two juveniles

A man caught shoplifting with two juveniles has been sentenced to 20 days in jail.The defendant, Joseph M. Perrigan, 20, was ordered to stay away from the juveniles with whom he was caught shoplifting at Walmart. He entered guilty pleas before Special Judge John Damron to charges of shoplifting and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was directed to serve 20 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and must perform 24 hours public service work.His sentence comes after loss prevention officers at Walmart saw one of the juveniles with Perrigan put on a pair of shoes in the shoe department and then place his old shoes inside the box from where he had taken the new pair.The group was stopped as they headed for the door.
