Martin, 44, was crossing Main Street

A woman was hit by a car Wednesday morning as she was crossing Main Street.The driver of the car, Nina Parker, 26, was on her way to court to be arraigned on drug charges. She has been cited for failure to use due care.According to McMinnville Police Sgt. Marty Cantrell, the accident happened at 8:46 a.m. on the cobblestone section of Main Street between the Warren County Courthouse and the downtown fountain.Cantrell said the victim, Hope Martin, 44, was crossing Main Street heading toward the courthouse when she was struck by a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Parker. The impact with the car’s front bumper knocked Martin to the pavement.
