A fugitive who dashed into a stranger’s home to hide from police has been sentenced to 10 days in jail. The fugitive, Charleston Dakota Ortega, 21, entered a guilty plea Tuesday before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to the charge of public intoxication. He was directed to serve 10 days and pay $10 plus costs as part of his plea bargain.
