A successful saturation patrol over Thanksgiving weekend has been overshadowed by the tragic loss of four teenagers Sunday morning.“I can’t express enough my sympathies to the families,” said McMinnville Police Department Lt. Mark Mara on Monday. “I went to the school this morning and the students were devastated. It’s a loss that will be felt by the entire community.”Mara knew three of the four teens because they took the Fatal Vision Class that he offers at the school.
