One person was killed and two were airlifted following a head-on collision Monday on Nashville Highway.Nancy Lazzara, 75, of Swamp Road in McMinnville, was killed at the scene. Her husband, Melvin Lazzara, 76, was critically injured and airlifted to Vanderbilt. The driver of the other vehicle, Gina McCutcheon, 41, of Woodbury was also critically injured and airlifted to Vanderbilt.Wet road conditions have been cited as contributing to the wreck, and the fact Mrs. Lazzara was not wearing a seatbelt has been listed as a factor in her death, according to the report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.The accident took place at 11:55 a.m. about one mile over the Warren-Cannon County line.
