Country will meet rock at the fair this week with Midnight Flyer and Joe Harvey performing on the main stage Thursday night beginning at 5:30 p.m. Midnight Flyer, a country band, will take the stage from 5:30 to 7 p.m., followed by Joe Harvey from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Harvey’s performance will be rock music.“We can’t wait,” said Midnight Flyer guitarist and vocalist Kevin Youngblood. “We opened for John Anderson last year and had fun doing it. The audience seemed to really enjoy it.”Fair organizers sought local bands due to money spent on upgrades which limited what could be spent to bring in musical entertainment this year.“I feel like we have a lot to prove,” said Midnight Flyer band member Brad Hennessee, who is on fiddle, guitar and vocals.
