A Yorozu supervisor was killed Thursday night when a woman pulled into the path of his motorcycle in Manchester.The victim, Martin K. Gilliam, 51, of Morrison died as a result of injuries he sustained in the crash on Highway 55 near its intersection with Ragsdale Road. The wreck took place just before Highway 55 crosses I-24.According to Manchester Police reports, the accident happened around 8 p.m. as Jennifer J. Casson, 28, of College Grove was trying to make a turn onto Ragsdale Road.“She stated she did not visibly see any other vehicles traveling east (away from Manchester) on Highway 55 and that she then attempted to cross the oncoming lanes of traffic,” the report reads.Gilliam’s motorcycle collided with the passenger side of her sedan as it crossed in front of him. Witnesses to the accident confirmed Casson pulled into Gilliam’s path causing the fatal wreck.
