Members of the Motlow College community recently gathered at McMinnville Center for the annual semi-formal sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa. This year, the dance was Hollywood themed and titled, “Party like a Rock Star.”The event, open to all PTK members, Motlow alumni, and Motlow personnel, promoted participation among students and gave members of the Motlow family the opportunity to come together as a community. Among those in attendance were Dr. MaryLou Apple, president of Motlow College; Jan Rogers, director of advancement; Michael Griffith, Motlow College Foundation member; and Melody Edmonds, director of the McMinnville Center.“The planning of this event gave PTK members an opportunity to be active problem solvers,” said Gregg Garrison, associate professor of biology and McMinnville Center advisor for Phi Theta Kappa.
