The county is continuing its string of bad luck with school contractors as a major mistake has come to light in the Morrison School project. A subcontractor for Biscan Construction has installed the roof trusses on the new gym upside down. The error occurred during the Christmas break and was discovered when engineers returned to work after the break.Commissioner Joel Akers addressed the problem Monday at a meeting of the Education Committee as school maintenance supervisor Donnie Caldwell was providing an update on the project, which Caldwell says is still on schedule.“What’s the situation with all the gym trusses being hung upside down?”
