Morrison fall festival full of fun

There was no shortage of friendly competition Friday night as Morrison School held its annual fall festival.Students went head-to-head for the title of Morrison King and Queen. They also used their artistic skills as they battled it out for best pumpkin.Eighth-graders Daniel Tidwell and Katelyn Smith emerged as the king and queen in a contest that was determined by the student whose pumpkin had the most money.Fourth-graders Dyson McBride and Keragon Sims finished second to earn the titles of duke and duchess. Third place went to first-graders Dawson Betancourt and Ashton Crouch as they were named prince and princess.The pumpkin contest featured an impressive collection of well-decorated entries that were on display outside the cafeteria.
