Meth lab nets Shannon four-month sentence

A man caught with a rolling meth lab was sentenced to four months in jail.The defendant, Tyler Shannon, 21, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley on charges of promoting the manufacture of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper display of a license tag. He was ordered to serve 120 days of a four-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs. He has been accepted into the drug court program, an 18-month rehabilitation program overseen by the court.It was the improper display of his license tag which prompted Trooper Gary Myers to turn around when he saw Shannon on Highway 8.
