A woman who helped steal $6,500 worth of metal and then sell it for scrap will serve 120 days in jail for her part in the crime. The woman, Amy Nichole Foutch, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to the charge of aggravated burglary and was directed to serve 120 days of a three-year sentence. She must also perform 16 hours public service work, undergo a drug and alcohol assessment, and get her GED.Her jail time comes after she was implicated in the theft of numerous farm implements including things like a grinder and plow. Lawmen were able to find the stolen items at South Central Iron and soon found out Foutch was part of the scheme to sell the stolen metal.“Ms. Foutch was present with Brent Edward Boyd when the items were sold at South Central,” said sheriff’s investigator Travis Thaxton in his felony warrant against the defendant.During a subsequent interview, Boyd claimed Foutch had contacted him and Rob Self and asked them to help her move some scrap metal.
