Martin caught selling marijuana to undercover agent in parking lot

A man who sold marijuana to an undercover agent in the Walmart parking lot has been given probation.The man, Brandon Joe Martin, 20, was granted an 11-month, 29-day judicial diversion by General Sessions Judge Larry Ross on the amended charge of simple possession of drugs. The judicial diversion means his criminal record will be erased as long as he gets into no further trouble during his year on probation. He will also have to pay $1,700.His sentence comes after sheriff’s investigators set up a drug deal where Martin was supposed to sell up to 12 grams of marijuana to their agent.
