A man has been sent for mental treatment after he broke into his mother’s home and stole her purse and her car.The man, Chase Whitney White, 28, was issued an 11-month, 29-day probationary sentence by General Sessions Judge Bill Locke. However, as part of his plea agreement, White is to be released to Buffalo Valley Mental Health for treatment of mental issues.The incident that landed White in treatment began when he showed up at his mother’s house asking to borrow $20 and her 1994 Mercury Sable. The mother told him to leave or she was going to call police.
