A man who bit his 11-year-old daughter will serve a month behind bars.The man, Daniel Paul Oranek, 39, entered a guilty plea before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to the charge of child abuse. He was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and must attend conflict management classes. His daughter was also removed from his custody.His sentence comes after he bit the right forearm of his daughter at the family home.In his statement, Organek maintained he felt his daughter was acting out of control late in the evening hours and he was trying to restrain her.
