Morrison firemen take precaution against a fire following a wreck on Manchester Highway at Morrison Friday afternoon. The driver of the pickup, Nicholas Cantrell, was seriously injured when a tractor trailer driven by Christopher Manners ran a red light and slammed him broadside. The pickup ended up coming to rest against another truck that was sitting in the oncoming lane.
A local man is in critical condition after a tractor trailer blew through a red light at Morrison and slammed into his car as he was leaving work at the old Carrier factory Friday afternoon. The victim, Nicholas Cantrell, 25, was airlifted by LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for treatment. He was conscious and responsive at the scene of the wreck.
