The body of a drowning victim at Rock Island State Park has reportedly been recovered.

According to reports, the Murfreesboro man was swimming with friends Sunday afternoon when he jumped into the water and did not come to the surface. His friends searched for him but could not find him. His identity has not been released.

Rescue crews with several agencies were on hand to search for the man Sunday evening.

It is the third drowning death at Rock Island State Park in less than a month. Two people died there in separate incidents over the Fourth of July.
