A man who led police on a chase in a Porsche after assaulting his girlfriend faces charges of evading arrest.The suspect, Dalton Holton, 24, is charged with assault, evading arrest with a motor vehicle and driving on a revoked license. He will face hearing before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke on Feb. 3.He was arrested after police responded to the report of a physical domestic dispute at an address on North Spring Street. Police found out he had already fled the scene before they got there.“He reportedly assaulted the victim and then stole her vehicle, a white-colored Porsche,” said McMinnville police officer Justin Cobble.Police fanned out trying to find the European sports car and soon came across it on nearby Winding Way.“I turned on my overhead lights and siren in attempt to stop the vehicle,” the officer said.
