A woman was killed and her passenger seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on Vervilla Road late Sunday night.Kristin Beth Luna, 24, was fatally injured when her car was struck by an oncoming pickup driven by Jonathan Meyer, 27, at the intersection of Vervilla Road and Engle Boulevard. Luna’s passenger, Jeffrey "Sawyer" Fults, 24, was rushed to River Park Hospital and later transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of critical injuries. Meyer escaped serious injury.According to preliminary reports, the wreck happened at 11:50 p.m. Sunday night.
