Locke hears 38-person docket

A 38-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Court. Included in court action:• Kasey Estes was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $150 plus costs, perform 16 hours public service work and must stay out of Walmart for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.• Clinton Maples was ordered to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $250 plus costs for casual exchange of marijuana.• Vicente F. Andres was directed to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $50 plus costs for public intoxication and possession of a handgun while under the influence. He must also forfeit his weapon.• Michael W. Pennington was bound to the grand jury on the charge of violating an order of protection.• Franklie Pomales was bound to the grand jury on the charge of theft.• James Summers must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.• Phillip York must serve 30 days for violation of probation.• Billy Bowdoin must serve 10 days for failure to appear in court.• Debra Knowles Merritt must serve 180 days and have her probation extended by one year for violation of probation.Clarifications• Bobby Davenport of Mt.
