Locke hears 103-person docket

A monstrous 103-person docket was heard Thursday by General Sessions Judge Bill Locke. The cases not listed were either continued to another date or dismissed. Included in court action:
• Chad Barrett was ordered to serve 12 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $3,264, lose his driver license for one year, and attend DUI school for DUI, second-offense driving on a revoked license and possession of drugs. His sentence will be served in addition to time he owes for violation of probation.
• Joseph Muncey was directed to serve five days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $608 and lose his driver license for evading arrest and second-offense driving on a suspended license.
• Lamar Readus was directed to serve five days and pay $272 for driving without a license.
• Wanda Carroll was instructed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,251, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI school and lose her driver license for one year for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
• Miguel Conception was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $514 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance or a seatbelt.
• Candida Evans was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $558 and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license.
• Travis King was instructed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,109, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI school and forfeit driving privileges for one year for DUI.
• David Fuqua was ordered to serve five days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $352 and lose his driver license for two years for second-offense driving on a suspended license.
• Johnny Tindell was ordered to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a revoked license.
• Destiny Hodges was ordered to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose her driver license for one year for driving on a revoked license. The sentence will be served in addition to her violation of probation.
• Carlos Miza must pay $482 for driving without a license or a seatbelt and speeding.
• Joseph Singleton must pay $310 for driving without a license and speeding.
• Alisha Lewis must pay $526 for driving without a license or insurance and reckless driving.
• Dallas Lavender must pay $315 for driving without a license, running a red light and driving without a seatbelt.
• Brandon Stringfellow must pay $192 for driving without a license.
• Ricardo Campos must pay $172 for driving without a license.
• Georgia Anderson, Jacob Rochon, Larry McClure, William Svensson, William Miller, Bryan Knowles, Steven Hayward, Kelli Earnest and Joe Esmeyer must pay $152 for driving without a license.
