Immerse yourself in the Swing Era of the 1930s and ’40s with the unmistakable sound of The Glenn Miller Orchestra at the Park Theater on Oct. 11.

Forget the drive to Tennessee Performing Arts Center to see The Glenn Miller Orchestra. Instead, enjoy an evening out with dinner and a show at the Park Theater on Oct. 11 at 7 p.m.

The world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra brings timeless classics such as “Moonlight Serenade,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “Pennsylvania 6-5000,” “String of Pearls” and “Tuxedo Junction” back to the stage. Even 75 years after the founding of this famous orchestra, Glenn Miller’s music is alive and well.

Over 20 musicians and singers bring the unforgettable Glenn Miller sound and perform those songs everyone remembers. This is a show not to miss for jazz and swing fans alike and for the incurable romantics who want to step back in time. The legendary Glenn Miller was the most successful of all the dance bandleaders during the Swing Era of the 1930s and ’40s.

The Warren County High School jazz band will also be performing with The Glenn Miller Orchestra.

“We are performing ‘In the Mood’ with them and we’re really excited about it,” said WCHS band director Duane Farnham.
For reserved tickets on the main floor, the cost is $40 and $30 for balcony seating. For dinner and show tickets, a table of four is $230, or $115 for a table of two. For a musical taste of Glenn Miller Orchestra or to purchase tickets, visit the Park Theater website.
