A work day has been scheduled for River Trail North on Saturday, May 13, beginning at 9 a.m.Volunteers are being sought.River Trail North is the second half of the trail connecting Rocket Park to Ramsey Park, with the first half being River Trail East, which was completed in October 2016. The northern section will be .4 miles from the Beersheba Street bridge to Rocket Park. Workers are invited to bring loppers, hand saws and chain saws to cut privet hedge from the wooded area from the launch ramp to the upstream edge of the sewage processing plant.
