Minor injuries were reported in a midday motor vehicle accident Wednesday at the intersection of Viola Road and Edgefield Drive. The incident occurred when Raven Lewandowski, 18, attempted a left turn from Edgefield in a Toyota Avalon. He entered the path of a Ford Ranger driven by Jack Gamble, 67, who was heading outbound. Gamble was transported to Saint Thomas River Park Hospital. Lewandowski was cited for failure to yield to oncoming vehicles. Other citations are pending. - photo by Lisa Hobbs
