Variety of programs promote summer reading

While many students laze around enjoying their summer days free from rigid school schedules, many local schools are offering summer reading programs. Additionally, Magness Library is now accepting online registration forms for its summer reading program, which is from June 13 through July 28. Magness Library assistant director Michelle Chisam said the theme this year is Rock Around the World with weekly stories, crafts and movies planned for children who register.
