Unless otherwise indicated, county meetings are held at Warren County Administrative Offices located at 201 Locust Street and city meetings are held at City Hall located at 101 E. Main Street.

Monday, May 8

The county Financial Management Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. Among items on the agenda: 1) Award bid for Eastside School portable classroom floor replacement; 2) Bleacher, gym divider curtain, basketball backstop inspection and maintenance bid extension option for Warren County Schools; 3) Budget amendments and transfers, if any; 4) Surplus property approval and disposal, if any.

The county Budget and Finance Committee will meet at 4 p.m. to consider budget amendments for Warren County Schools, Warren County General Fund, Ambulance Fund, and Debt Service Fund.

Tuesday, May 9

The county Highway and Bridge Committee will meet at 4 p.m. at the Highway Department to consider its proposed budget for fiscal year 2017-18.

The county Health and Welfare Committee will meet at 5 p.m. to receive monthly reports from Animal Control and Adoption Center, Health Department and Sanitation Department. Consideration will also be given to proposed budgets for fiscal year 2017-18 and a litter grant application.

The city Building and Grounds Committee will meet at 6:10 p.m. to discuss the downtown lots.

The city Parks and Recreation Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Members will consider shade structure bids, reviewing HRF Design contract, and discuss an indoor pool.

McMinnville’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen regular session begins at 7 p.m. Among items on the agenda: 1) Resolution to enter into a contract with Cintas Corporation for firefighter uniforms; 2) Ordinance to amend the city’s Municipal Code on storm water; 3) Ordinance to amend Solid Waste Collection fees; 4) Ordinance to allow McMinnville Water and Sewer Department to purchase Bell Street property for $750,000; 5) Ordinance to amend the department’s 2016-17 budget for the purchase.
