Unless otherwise indicated, county meetings are held at Warren County Administrative Offices located at 201 Locust Street and city meetings are held at City Hall located at 101 E. Main Street.

Monday, March 13

The county Education Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Bobby Ray School to tour the building, followed by a tour of West Elementary.

Tuesday, March 14

The county Building and Grounds Committee will meet at 4:30 p.m. to consider a resolution to rescind section two of Resolution No. 30-2016 adopted on Sept. 19, 2016 for the purpose of removing the right of reverter clause regarding land conveyed to Motlow State Community College for use as an Advanced Robotics Center. If Motlow had failed in its attempt to obtain a grant for the expansion, the clause allowed the land to revert back to the county.

The county Health and Welfare Committee will meet at 5 p.m. to receive reports from Warren County’s Animal Control and Adoption Center, Health Department and Sanitation Department.

The city Water and Sewer Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. to discuss purchase of loader and tank mixer, as well consider McMinnville Water Department’s leak adjustment policy.

The city Building and Ground Committee will meet at 5:50 p.m. to discuss Farmers Market lease, consider changes to the city’s zoning codes, and receive an update report on City Spring.

The city Finance Committee will meet at 6:10 p.m. to discuss: 1) bylaws for Tourism Development Board; 2) budgeting $15,000 for Strategic Plan; 3) financing for the proposed Civic Center renovations.

The city Parks and Recreation Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. to consider bids for paving back parking lot at the Civic Center and discuss an indoor pool.

McMinnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold its regular session at 7 p.m. Members will consider a request to allow a Kids Funfest and Safety Day to be held at the Civic Center on May 13, as well as reappointment of Tom Ward to Historical Zoning Commission.

Thursday, March 16

The county Financial Management Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. Among items on the agenda: 1) Award bid for computers for Warren County Schools; 2) Award bid for copier lease 2017 for Warren County Schools; 3) Award bid for supplemental athletic accident insurance 2017 for Warren County Schools; 4) Internet access, telecommunications and telecommunication services contract for Warren County Schools.

The county Education Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Warren County Middle School to tour the building, followed by a tour of Eastside School.
