A woman who tried to smuggle drugs into the jail inside her underwear after stealing them from a friend has been granted probation.The woman, Christy Lea Wilmore, 37, denied having the drugs when lawmen arrived to investigate the situation at her Shelbyville Road residence.“She locked herself in the bathroom and would not come out until I threatened to force my way in,” reported deputy Tyler Glenn, saying the woman had taken her friend’s pill bottle. “She admitted she did take the pill bottle but gave it back when she was confronted.”The victim argued there were four to six pills missing from the bottle. The officer placed Wilmore under arrest and warned her if she did have the pills, as it was alleged, then she had better turn them over or face smuggling charges once they got to jail.Wilmore did not turn over the drugs.
