A mother and her live-in boyfriend both face felony child abuse charges after a local doctor’s office discovered severe injuries to an 18-month-old girl. The mother, Allison Kaye Roe, 21, and her live-in boyfriend, Houston Sky King, 19, have both been charged with aggravated child abuse. The charge has been enhanced to a Class A felony under Haley’s Law because of the nature of the injuries and because it involves a vulnerable child under age 8.
