McMinnville’s triathlon is showing its support for an organization that strives to offer recreational activities. A check for $500 has been presented from McMinnville Triathlon Committee members to Friends of the Greenway.“This year’s donation to Friends of the Greenway will be used for the continued development of the greenway trail and parks located along the banks of the Barren Fork River in the city of McMinnville,” said McMinnville Triathlon Committee member Matt Feno.Our triathlon is an annual event organized by local residents and held in conjunction with McMinnville Parks and Recreation. Proceeds raised are donated to local organizations to help the community.
