Triathlon helps food bank get a leg up

McMinnville’s triathlon has sprinted to the assistance of the Warren County Emergency Food Bank.A check for $1,000 has been presented from McMinnville Triathlon Committee members to Food Bank representatives.“This year’s donation to the Food Bank will be used to continue helping provide food for those in need to local families in Warren County,” said McMinnville Triathlon Committee member Matt Feno. “With the financial support of local sponsors and businesses, the event has led to the donation of over $20,000 back into the community over the last four years.”McMinnville Triathlon is an annual event organized by local residents and held in conjunction with McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department. Proceeds raised are donated to local organizations to help the community.
