Sentences were handed down by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Traffic Court.Included in court action:Brian Lee Hale was bound to the grand jury on charges of evading arrest, reckless endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving on a suspended license. He is charged with slamming head-on into a parked car while he was trying to evade police.Aaron Daniel Stephens was ordered to serve four days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence for evading arrest and reckless endangerment. He is charged with fleeing from officers on a motorcycle, traveling at more than 100 mph.Courtney D. Martin was bound to the grand jury on charges of theft, evading arrest, public intoxication, possession of a weapon by a felon, and driving on a suspended license.Genesis L. Vaughn was handed an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $250 plus costs for simple possession of drugs.Lonnie Thaxton was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI Class, and lose driving privileges for one year of DUI.Brian Keith Baker and Fermin M. Gopar must serve 48 hours and pay $50 plus costs for driving without a license.Sasha Crouch was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $50 plus costs and lose her driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.Alea Lanae Freemon was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $250 plus costs for simple possession of drugs.Misty Ferrell was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion for shoplifting.
