Warren County loved Donald Trump on Election Day, the Nursery Capitol betting on the winning candidate by a margin of nearly 3-to-1.The upset victory that sent the billionaire businessman to the White House had its roots in Tennessee as the Republican saw one of his most lopsided victories of the night in the Volunteer State. Wins in the battleground states of Florida and Ohio, along with surprise wins in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, led to Democratic nominee and perceived frontrunner, Hillary Clinton, to concede the race during a phone call to Trump in the wee hours of the morning.In Warren County, the margin of victory for Trump was the largest margin enjoyed by any presidential candidate in modern history as he won by a count of 9,535 to 3,535. The margin came despite Hillary’s husband, Bill Clinton, carrying Warren County easily on both of his runs for the White House in the 1990s.
