The local workforce is taking a hit as Yorozu announced in October it will be eliminating over 700 jobs.Once with over 1,900 employees, Yorozu officials have said the goal is for the local plant to stabilize with around 1,200 employees. The good news is no layoffs are expected. The workforce will be reduced by natural attrition as many positions won’t be filled once employees leave.
