It is that time of year again: Best of the Best season.

The Southern Standard has conducted the Best of the Best for 29 years as of this year, offering the citizens of Warren County with a way of making their voices and opinions heard across many categories, from sweet tea to tire shop. This year is no exception. We want to hear who you think does everything best.

To give our readership a chance to get their first votes in, a ballot will be included in Friday’s edition of the paper. Readers are permitted to enter one form per person, per edition. In an effort to promote fairness, businesses may only pre-purchase up to 50 papers per edition to be shared with their patrons and employees.

The publication dates for the ballots will be as follows: June 13, 25, 27, 28 and July 2. Online voting will pick up on July 1 at midnight, running until Aug. 1 at midnight. A print publication announcing the results of voting will be released in Oct.
