Suspicion surrounds Mayfield's disappearance

Authorities are searching for a 36-year-old woman who has been missing for a week. 

Jennifer Mayfield was last seen on Friday, March 17. She was reported missing on March 18. According to the McMinnville Police Department, Mayfield may have disappeared under suspicious circumstances. Detectives are currently working to make sure she is found safely. 

Her reported ex-boyfriend, Kenny Campbell, has been questioned. Detective Katelyn Cannon said they have interviewed Campbell, but no other information was available to be released at this time. 

According to a friend of Mayfield, she received a message from Mayfield on Facebook messenger at 12:19 p.m. on March 17 saying, “Hey. I need a ride bad.” The friend responded to her at 5:22 p.m. saying she just saw the message and asked if she was OK. Mayfield did not respond. The friend attempted to call Mayfield on messenger at 6:16 p.m. and she did not answer. 

Mayfield has brown hair with red in it. She is approximately 5-foot-5-inches and weighs approximately 125-130 pounds.
