Before students turned their attention to turkey on their plate, they were treated to a barnyard of activity last week at Warren County High School. The school’s annual Ag Day featured everything from chickens to horseback rides. Students brought their cows and tractors to school for a day of giant show and tell. There was even a chance to pet nontraditional farm animals such as a camel, llama and emu thanks to a mobile petting zoo.“If I had a camel like this, I’d be riding it to school every day,” said student Alan Esparza after feeding the camel some grass. For student Hunter Wilcher, it was a chance for him to get a horseback ride thanks to Ian Pursley, who loves horses and says he rides about twice a week.
