The home of Brent and Tessia Scott on Smithville Highway suffered heavy damage Sunday around 2:45 a.m. when a large tree crashed through their roof. Many friends and family members were on the scene Sunday afternoon to help with clean-up efforts.
Brent Scott says he’s normally a sound sleeper, but he awoke with a start early Sunday morning. That’s because a tree had crashed through the roof of his home on Smithville Highway not far from Delores Market.
