Warren County’s attempt to obtain a grant of up to $250,000 to be used for building upgrades was unsuccessful. “We did not get the Clean Tennessee grant,” said Warren County Executive Herschel Wells.The negative report was given during Wednesday’s meeting of the Joint Economic and Community Development Board. The full Warren County Commission approved in January to apply for a 50-50 grant to be used to address roofing and lighting issues at Warren County Administrative Offices, Warren County Courthouse, and Warren County Jail.
