The Southern Standard has continued its tradition of excellence, taking numerous honors at the Tennessee Press Association annual awards dinner.“It speaks well of our news team here at the Standard,” said newspaper publisher Pat Zechman. “When comparing our stories, photos and editorial content against other papers in Tennessee, the Standard continues to shine. We remain dedicated to providing accurate and reliable coverage about events taking place our community and surrounding counties.”The awards include three first-place plaques.
