Spitting on a guard will cost a Warren County Jail inmate an extra 10 days in the lockup.The inmate, Candy Nichole Redmon, 38, entered a guilty plea before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to the reduced charge of assault. She was ordered to serve 10 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence which will be served in addition to any other jail time she owes the state. She was originally charged with aggravated assault under a clause in the law which makes it a felony to assault any public employee.
