A woman who dragged a passenger dangling from her car as she tried to outrun police has been given 90 days in jail.The woman, Kristyn A. Spangler, 20, entered guilty pleas before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to charges of evading arrest, theft, and violation of probation. She was directed to serve 90 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence.According to McMinnville policeman Brad Hall, an officer tried to pull over Spangler’s Mazda on West Sparta Street because she was not wearing a seatbelt. However, the driver continued on, ignoring his blue lights.“While on Winding Way, the male in the front passenger seat opened the door to get out of the vehicle,” Hall explained.
