After nearly 55 years at 105 College Street, the Southern Standard is moving to its new home this weekend.

The Standard’s office on College Street will be closing at noon on Friday, May 16, to allow staff the time to prepare for moving operations to the new location at 477 N. Chancery Street, Suite 4. On Monday, May 19, the office will be closed all day to finalize any remaining setup processes. Readers can rest assured there will be no interruption in newspaper production and delivery over the weekend.

Serving our customers is important to us and, while the doors will be closed Friday through Monday, classifieds can still be placed by calling the office at (931) 473-2191 and selecting option two or emailing orders to jeslick@southernstandard.com.

On Tuesday, the Southern Standard will reopen to the public at the N. Chancery office with new operating hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments outside these hours can be made Monday through Friday.
